Two expert providers have been recognised for their work under the Pro Bono Expert Support (PBES) scheme at a special awards ceremony held in the UK Supreme Court.
Charles River Associates (CRA) and the Association of Interpreters and Translators (AIT) were presented with awards by the National Pro Bono Centre’s CEO, Esther McConnell, as part of Pro Bono Connect’s 10th anniversary celebration on Thursday 9th July.
The award for the highest number of hours spent on a PBES case was presented to Charles River Associates, who dedicated time and expertise to a complex pro bono matter.
Chris Rowley, Vice President in CRA’s Risk, Investigations, & Analytics Practice in the London office, said: “Charles River Associates is delighted to win this award. It reflects our commitment to making world-class investigative and analytical expertise available to those who might not otherwise have access to it.”

The award for most PBES cases taken on was presented to the Association of Interpreters and Translators, whose essential interpreting and translation services have helped to remove language barriers for clients throughout the legal process.
AIT chairman Irina Sanders said: “We are honoured to receive this recognition from Pro Bono Connect and the National Pro Bono Centre. This award reflects the outstanding commitment of AIT members, whose expertise and generosity help ensure that people in need can access vital language support when it matters most.”
