Legal mentor/educator: 6-8 hours total [trusts law] University of Chester

  • Cheshire / home based

Here at the University of Chester Law School we operate a number of projects aimed at reaching out to our local community.

We are looking for a volunteer solicitor or barrister who would be willing to mentor our students through putting together guidance sessions for charities on issues such as ‘the roles and responsibilities of trustees’; ‘safeguarding for trustees’; ‘the legal status of charity volunteers’.

This would likely involve no more than 6-8 hours of work in total, to include meeting with the student volunteers prior to them commencing their research into the guidance sessions, then checking the guidance provided by their sessions is legally correct, prior to them presenting to charity groups.
