Legal volunteers: ad hoc [triage, initial advice, assist caseworkers] Nucleus Legal Advice Centre

  • West London

Volunteers are an important part of the Nucleus Legal Advice organisation, which provides free benefits, debt, housing and employment law advice.

– Work with paid staff to deliver case work.

– First line of contact at times with clients, triaging and initial advice are part of the responsibilities of volunteers

– Help deliver Quick Advice sessions and are able to provide a higher level of social support to people who may need more social support.

– They also help caseworkers stay on top of paperwork.

All volunteers’ work is checked and supervised. We are open to new ideas and possible roles for volunteers if it helps us to improve services and quality. Whether you are retired, a student looking for some practical experience, or you are looking to get into paid work, why not consider volunteering at Nucleus? If you would like to volunteer for Nucleus please download the volunteer application form and e-mail Anisha Bhandari at anisha@nucleus.org.uk.
